how we can help

In Pregnancy

  • We can offer a schedule of antenatal appointments to match those provided by hospitals, doctors and midwives, complete with education to keep you informed, confident and ahead of your pregnancy.

  • We can also offer ad-hoc (as you need them) appointments, perhaps to minimise the cost of your pregnancy care, or to experience the convenience and flexibility of in-home midwifery care for your pregnancy.

  • Our care is bulk-billed if you have a Medicare card. Without a Medicare card, each appointment costs $100. This is paid up-front when you book your appointment.

  • We provide antenatal appointments (pregnancy check-ups). Advice on what to eat and safe exercises. Understanding the various tests and ultrasounds in pregnancy. How to get the best out of your care team. Childbirth education. Feelings of overwhelm or anxiety. Options for care and care providers. Common pregnancy issues such as morning sickness, back pain and indigestion. Understanding what’s normal, what’s not, and when to seek help. Birth plans. Preparing for birth with confidence. And all things pregnancy, birth and baby!

After Bub Arrives

  • We can offer a schedule of postnatal appointments complete with education to help you feel informed, confident and prepared.

  • We bridge the gap between coming home from hospital and your 6-week check.

  • We can also offer ad-hoc (as you need them) appointments for situations that come up unexpectedly.

  • Our care is bulk-billed if you have a Medicare card. Without a Medicare card, each appointment costs $100. This is paid up-front when you book your appointment.

  • We provide postnatal appointments (check-ups for Mum and baby after birth).

  • The service is only available for babies who are under 6 weeks of age.

  • Advice on what to eat and safe exercises. Postnatal education. Feelings of overwhelm or anxiety. Postnatal checks. Baby health checks. Sleep and settling.  Breastfeeding.  Bottle feeding.  Monitoring weight loss in baby. BP checks. Recovery tips. Adjusting to life with a newborn. Understanding what’s normal, what’s not, and when to seek help. Birth debriefing (talking through your birth, perhaps to get clarity and questions answered). Expressing milk for baby. And all things pregnancy, birth and baby!
