My pregnancy is high risk. Can I have a midwife?

Yes, midwifery care may well be an option for you, and of course you’re always welcome to Dial a Midwife.  Your public midwifery options may be limited as public hospitals will generally steer higher-risk women towards obstetric care, however, private midwives can care for women of all levels of risk in consultation with an obstetrician for the issues that may need obstetric input.
